Culinary tour of the sonne
You find our palate joys here during your stay. Beginning with the breakfast buffet in the market world, to the Bregenzerwälder snack up to the apéritif. The gourmet dinner and of course the after dinner drinks. You go to this culinary journey at our resort. On your welfare, good appetite, and beautiful journey.
Our sun terrace
In good weather during the summer months, our sun terrace is open daily. Drinks, cakes and ice cream are served here.
There is also the “wälder late lunch” from 2:00pm - 4:00pm daily.

Your nutrition is very near and dear to us. You can advise us about any special requests and specific features, that our kitchen staff should be aware of, in your booking request. Our specially trained allergy chefs and service staff is looking forward to providing you with outstanding professional advice. Our motto is: intolerances and wishes will be taken seriously. So serious that we will also create special menus for you.
We are a gourmet restaurant for vegans, guests with any intolerances, and any guest who we can offer a delightful experience in our restaurant. With us you can have a feast and rememberable night to enjoy.

HIKING HOLIDAYS, GOLF & RELAX
The stay in our hiking and gourmet hotel in Vorarlberg offers a diversity of possibilities for great active holidays. The Alps are the perfect place to experience unforgettable hikes with an absolutely breathtaking panorama. Green mountain ranges, demanding climbs, splashing brooks and much more awaits hikers of all levels.
But with hiking it´s not over. Play a round of golf, for example, on one of the easily accessible golf courses, go biking or experience one of many other outdoor adventures. Of course, you can also simply extensively use our large, modern spa to fully relax.
GREAT DAY EXCURSIONS - TO BREGENZ AT LAKE CONSTANCE OR OBERSTDORF IN THE ALLGÄU
The surroundings of Bregenzerwald and Vorarlberg offer many opportunities, not only for physical activities. Wanting to make a day trip you are spoiled for choice. For example, you can reach the beautiful city of Bregenz on Lake Constance in just under 45 minutes and Oberstdorf im Allgäu in just over an hour. Museums, churches, historical craftsmanship, culture and much more is waiting to be discovered.
GOOD ACCESSIBILITY FROM GERMANY TO OUR GOURMETHOTEL
A big plus of our hotel is the exceptional location in Austria. In the middle of the Alps and yet easy to reach. The best way to get there is either via Oberstaufen and the St 2005 or taking the A96 motorway to the Austrian border at Lake Constance and Bregenz. From the Austrian border, it only takes about 30 minutes from the direction Oberstaufen or 45 minutes from Bregenz to our hotel in Mellau.
